A long pedigree in lawn care
Some may recognise the name Ian Handy from his background in the garden machinery market.
It was many years prior to that, after caring for his family's grass tennis court, that he became immersed in lawn care. As a result, he set up The Lawn Doctor to help people who were serious about their lawns.
Keen to offer a first-rate service based on traditional skills and a responsible grasp of technology, in 1998 Ian welcomed Gareth Case to join the business and the workforce continues to expand. The team have all received Grounds Management Association (GMA) and Sports Turf Research Institute (STRI) training and continue to attend specialist courses with these esteemed organisations.
